As investigators we specialize in locating missing heirs: we ascertain a current address or a date and place of death.

A determination of heirship may require our expertise in the field of forensic genealogy: historical documentary research combined with investigative skills.  We also possess extensive experience in preparation of affidavits and compilation of admissible documentary evidence for use as court exhibits.  We create computer-generated genealogical charts, which serve as easily understood graphic depictions of familial relationships and significant events, each correspondingly linked to documents obtained in support of those representations.  Our findings may be used to establish an heir’s interest -- or refute claims put forth by alleged heirs.

In each case we provide proof of compliance with due diligence requirements.

Assignments may include estate & trust settlement matters, or distribution of unclaimed assets, as well as suits to quiet title to real property, establishment of ownership of oil, gas, and mineral rights or other legal interests.  Services are rendered to legal and banking professionals, including Ad Litems, administrators, attorneys, conservators, executors, fiduciaries, guardians, trust officers, trustees, and other agents and agencies both public and private, as well as on behalf of heirs and beneficiaries.

Even the most extensive collection in any one location cannot provide essential information for every case.  Therefore, in many cases our staff utilizes the most knowledgeable researchers and investigators located in every state and at the federal archive facilities throughout the United States as well as at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.  We also maintain the most extensive network of international associates located on every continent and in practically every country in the world.  Coordinated by our personnel, dedicated investigators and researchers who are most familiar with their geographic regions and available records access, interpret, and translate all necessary documentation.  Their knowledge of the languages, history, cultures, and politics is often indispensable.  Our foreign correspondents will interview persons who may possess knowledge of the families of interest…and eventually establish contact with all heirs who may be found overseas.

Suffice it to say if we don’t already have personnel in place where they are needed, we’ll dispatch them to any locale expeditiously.
