Received an Email Claiming You’re Entitled to an Estate from Von Langen, LLC?

Here’s What You Need to Know About a Current Phishing Scam.

It has come to our attention that a fraudulent phishing email campaign is circulating, falsely using the name Von Langen, LLC (or some similar variation) to deceive individuals into believing they are entitled to an inheritance.

These emails are not from our firm, and we urge you to remain vigilant and cautious if you receive any such communication.

What the Scam Looks Like

The fraudulent emails may include one or more of the following claims:

  • That you are the heir to the estate of an individual with whom you have no known relationship, and no additional background information is provided regarding your connection to the case.
  • That a deceased individual left a “personal message” for you.
  • That you were selected as an heir through a charitable act of kindness as a part of her “final wishes.”
  • That you should contact an “attorney” (not affiliated with us) or their company (may not be listed as Von Langen, LLC) to proceed with the next steps.

The scammers may also use official-sounding language and reference our firm’s name to appear legitimate. These emails typically come from addresses that look deceptively similar to our company address.

Important: These emails are NOT from Von Langen, LLC.
Do not respond. Do not share any personal or financial information. Do not contact the person listed in the email.
